My LoK oc,Seneca!
Her farther’s an earthbender named Samuel from Ba Sing Se and her mother’s a Waterbender named Sue from the foggy swamp tribe.
They had a falling out after she was about 5 and they separated.
She was raised in The Foggy Swamp tribe and did learn some earthbending from her father prior to the two separating. Due to the swamps not having alot of solid ground to bend like the earth kingdom,she mostly used to bend mud from learning from her father. She speaks with the accent of the tribe but not the dialect.
Her mother,seeing that her daughter became depressed from the lack of solid,hard earth to bend,sent her away to Ba Sing Se at the age of 10. There she continued her studies of earth bending from her father. Then at the age of about 16,Her father got a job in republic city and him and his daughter moved there. Two years later,Seneca’s father passed away from sickness. She joined a probending team with her friend Marlene and Lago in order to keep herself occupied as well as earn money. Kago quit the team after a match that shattered his hand and it never recovered,so the team lost their waterbender.
The koala otters quit their probending careers,seeing as they could find no replacement. Then a year later,at the time when avatar Korra arrived in republic city,they found a replacement(Who is Jess’ waterbending oc).
They happened to go all the way to the semi-finals (i think it was episode 5) and went up against Tahno and the other Wolfbats. Cheating was used there,Seneca was injured by a shattered rock disc/water combo that made a fragment of the rock lodge itself in Seneca’s arm,causing her to have to leave the match in the 3rd round. The round ended in a fire on fire tiebreaker and Marlene lost it to the wolfbat’s firebender,eliminating them from the tournament.
